I'm OK

"Every morning that I wake
I look back at yesterday
And I'm OK"

Now this probably doesn't show on the picture, but it's a piece on child abuse. And trauma, and self-destruction, and all the memories that haunt us no matter how much time has passed. If you take a closer look, you'll see that we're still not OK. We'll never be OK. But we're alive, and that's our little victory.     

Acrylic paint (mostly) on canvas. For the body position (again, mostly) I used the reference below. But don't look at it too much, 'cause then you'll see how imperfect the painting really is, and the camera-blurred image of it is bad enough as it is.
