Nick Says It

I'm getting a little tired of explaining paintings I myself don't completely understand, so here it is, to the point that I know it:

I made a Nick Cave party for myself and pretty much no one else a couple of days ago. There was a lot of dancing, who cares if it was just me. I though a lot about songs like "Release the Bats" and "Babe I'm on Fire"... I looked at the reflection in the window. I drew what I saw and felt. It turned out like a running person, though, instead of a dancing one. So I decided to make this a sequel picture to Bat Romance. To all the vague raw passions that hold our hearts that we barely ever dare admit to ourselves that we're feeling.

And yes, the "Babe I'm on Fire" song goes "mother says it, father says it..... Mick says it, Blixa says it" and so on and so on... so I thought I might just add Nick to the whole thing. It's his song, after all.

Nick says it... and Nick won't let you quit it.
