The Melting Pot

The picture was started with a different meaning than the one it acquired when it was finished. And it's not a meaning that can be guessed by just looking at the picture, even I couldn't.

Even though I'm more or less quoting someone else, the world is, in a way, like a melting pot, as all the junk and rotten, corrupted material floats out on the surface... But this isn't the basic idea yet; it is merely a picture to display an imaginary symbolic... well, cleansing of the world that would drown all the filth and darkness,probably wash away, melt away the worst sides of a dreadful place as well... In such moments it's the time for dreamers to rejoice and hope the morning reveals a new, better and purer world... or, at least, rejoice while they can before the old world reappears the same, only a bit wetter and muddier. Who knows? All that's certain is that dreamers live for such moments. Sorry about the bad quality of the image, it was the best my camera could do, as there's no way I can get to a scanner anymore...
